No shade, but I really think Cassie should stick to modelling. Her singing career is a bit… well. But she’s looking so amazing in Blank magazine.

[MY FAVOURITE THING TODAY, KINDA] Claudia for Chanel!
I’m stan so hard for the 90s Supers, so this whole 90s supermodel revival is just too amazing to me.
The fab Claudia Schiffer - long-time Lagerfeld muse - is the face of Chanel’s Fall 2011 eyewear collection.

Hello Summer, indeed. Beyonce’s media blitz continues. She covers the July edition of Dazed and Confused. What a good look.

Zoe Kravitz, arguably my favourite celebu-spawn, covers the July edition of ASOS magazine. Here are some highlights:
On her It Girl status: All that ‘it girl’ shit makes me kind of uncomfortable. I’m only at the beginning of my career, but I feel successful in that I haven’t sold out in any way, shape or form. I feel good about the choices I’ve made, and I don’t feel like I’ve let go of any of my values. Fame has become this obsession for people, which kind of creeps me out.
On filming X-Men: The First Class: We (Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and boyfriend Michael Fassbender) were living in London for four months and it was like X-Men summer camp, so we all hung out at each other’s houses after filming, went out to pubs…I lived in Notting Hill, right by Portobello…I’m spending all my money on flea-market shopping!
On her parents’ quirky fashion sense: I used to be a little embarrassed by how she (mom Lisa Bonet) and my dad (Lenny Kravitz) would dress…but now I steal their clothes all the time.

Regardless of how you feel about Beyonce’s first single off 4, Who Run the World (Girls) [To be honest, it took an entire month to grow on me!], the video is all kinds of awesome.
Fashion Bomb Daily broke down all the designer looks from the video. Just goes to show how much work was put into the vid.

I swear this is my last Met Gala post for today. But this picture’s so good, I couldn’t resist. So apparently Beyonce’s dress was so tight, she couldn’t make it up the steps without help from her husband Jay Z and another assistant? Now that’s being dedicated to your look, Ms Knowles!

So many people wore spangly sparkly gold numbers. It’s officially a thing. Again.

[MET GALA: WHAT WERE Y’ALL THINKING] I don’t have the heart to blog about these looks individually, but I was disappointed in all of them. Especially my current style crush Solange Knowles.

Salma Hayek
To quote ELLE Fashion Editor Kirsty: sen-sa-tional! And I swear I didn’t just pick this because the Gala honoured McQueen… This look honestly made my heart skip a beat.

Rumer
Yes, this comes as a shock to me as well. Little Rumer Willis is my second best dressed at the Met Costume Gala. And I refuse to feel bad about loving what she’s wearing. It’s the damn shoulder detail. And the hair. And the four fingernails painted black + pinkie nail painted red thing. And the perfect (non) accessorising. She makes this classic black look exciting. Well done.
